According to SP announcement on 30 Sept 2019, Singapore household electricity tariffs for October to December are set to fall by an average of 3.3 per cent, or 0.79 cent per kilowatt hour (kwh), compared with the previous quarter.
The Q4 2019 SP household electricity tariff (1 Oct 2019 to 31 Dec 2019) is 25.07¢ per kWh, inclusive of GST. Household electricity tariffs for previous quarter was 25.92 cents per kwh – was the highest in nearly five years. With the tariff decline, households can expect lower electricity bills for the next three months.
The tariff set by SP Group is reviewed quarterly, based on guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) to reflect the actual cost of electricity.
